Before making changes to these wiki pages, please read the following
guidelines.
Unsigned content:
If a wiki page has content that is not signed, you are welcome to add
to it, modify it, fix typos and spelling or grammar errors. The content
is owned by all contributors, and is open to your ideas as much as
anyone else's.
These wiki pages are different from a forum, in that the pages are
meant to be a resource rather than a debate. If you disagree with a
statement, rather than deleting it and putting your own statement there
instead, please put your differing view on the same page (if brief) or
link to a new page, and leave both statements there for us to consider.
Life is full of contradictions. Sometimes it is helpful to see many
sides of an issue, to see what resonates for us at a particular time.
Signed content:
If wiki content is signed, that means that the person who wrote it
would like it to stand as a statement of their thoughts on an issue.
Please respect this when modifying pages. You are welcome to fix typos
and spelling or minor grammar mistakes, and to link to other pages from words there, but you are asked not to alter
content.
If you would like to suggest more extensive editing, or to respond to
the views stated, please leave a brief note at the end of the page.
The original author is free to take your suggestions or not.
You can state your own view on the same page, ideally separating it from what is there by a horizontal line, or link to a new page, or start a discussion about the topic on the forums and link to it at the end of the page. This debate may take place in the Talking Circle forum which is open to the public, or in the Sacred Circle forum, which is password protected.
Forum content and wiki pages:
If dialogue on the forum results in "gems of wisdom" that should be put
on the wiki site, please do so only with the permission of the person
who posted the original gems, particularly if the topic was in the
Sacred Circle gathering.
If forum content is posted on the wiki pages, the author may choose to
post it as signed or unsigned content. If it is posted as unsigned
content, it may be modified by other members.
Linking, indexing, page naming and grouping:
Anyone can add a link to a new page on the general index page of the category (the page you reach clicking the link in the sidebar), but a small team of Web-builders (the Web-team) is responsible for all indexes and linking and may rename pages if it is desirable, or move them into more suitable categories. The aim is to develop a site structure which is easy to navigate with content congruent with the site's mission. The Web-team may also remove content if it is against the spirit of the site at their own discretion. The Web-team invites creative input from all contributors and at the same time endeavours to develop Web-of-Life into a well functioning and good looking Web of rich and inspiring content.
