Question: The leaves of my lilac bush are covered in a dusty, gray mould ~ most likely of the powdery mildew family. In the fall, I'll make sure to clean up all the old leaves and remove them altogether. I have read that powdery mildew can be quite persistent, especially with lilacs. Any suggestions as to what else I can do to prevent the mildew from coming back next year?
