  • The Institute for Environmental Research and Education has just completed a study about the feasibility of turning the whole Vashon and Maury Island community in the Pacific Northwestern US into an Energy Independent Community within ten years. This includes green hydrogen generation for fuel cell cars. Apparently 75% of the local residents were in favour of this plan, and would be willing to pay more for their electricity to do so.
