Prayer for Refreshment

O Holy Spirit, Love of God, infuse your grace, and descend

plentifully into my heart; enlighten the dark corners of

this neglected dwelling and scatter there your cheerful

beams; dwell in that soul that longs to be your temple;

water that barren soil, overrun with weeds and briars,

and lost for want of cultivating,

and make it fruitful with your dew from heaven.

Oh, come, refreshment of those that languish and faint.

Amen

--St. Augustine

                    *********************

Here is a simple attunement invocation that can be used by one person or a group. It can be applied to any situation by adding in your appropriate circumstances.

May the Highest Good (or your word for divinity),

ideas and energies,

flow through us (me) and may we (I) express

this Highest Good for all,

in all that we (I) do, say, intend and think,

in this place (office, home, workplace, garden, woods,

kitchen, store, hospital, boat, wherever).

Amen (Let it be so; So mote it be; So be it; aho...)
