God, Creator, the force, power, and concsiousness of this Universe is often depicted as our Divine Parent and Shepherd. Therefore, it is natural that we lift our needs, wants and desires up this higher and stronger force. Often it is the humility, humbleness, and modesty of prayers of asking that set the tone of being ready to receive. The creative force of this Universe fills all holes with light, vibrations and substance. We are asking here, that it fill us in our need and emptiness, too.

O Father-Mother God, rewrite my selfish agenda to

embrace Your Purposes. Give me a new

perspective that sees beyond the present world

into eternity. Help me adjust my priorities in

every area of life so I can use my time, talents,

and material resources for Your glory.

Prayer for Guidance

The spirits of the mountain exist in strength.

Their roots are deep in the Earth,

their heads pierce the air and mount to the sky above.

They dance from flat to peak

and, spiraling, descend again.

Good Ones, when I come under your trees

and upon your stones,

guide me.

Lord, when tempers flare and arguments seem inevitable,

help us to bring conflicts to you and seek

your wisdom to resolve them. Amen

Loving God, thank you for forgiving us.

Help us to forgive those who hurt us

and to get on with life. Amen

Mother of the Universe,

I have no desire to exercise power.

I would not even care to be an emperor.

Sweet Mother, please grant me

two simple meals each day

and wealth enough to thatch the palm roof

of my clean earthen house,

where I offer dreaming and waking

as red flowers at your feet.

Immortal and eternal father God,

Thy divine scheme is one of wholeness,

Where there is pain, let there be rest,

Where there is anguish, let there be peace,

Where there is fear, let there be quiet,

We are in thy hands,

Grant us the Grace to understand thy will.

Ours is not to question but to accept,

Ours is not to complain but to strive to serve,

We are in thee and try to know thee in ourselves,

May we know thee in the magnitude of thy universe,

May we see thee in the last of thy creation,

May we find thee in all our being.

In our imperfections, may thy perfection be manifest,

Amen

Sweet Spirit,

Fill me with your kindness,

your generosity,

your worthiness,

your intention.

That like you

I can rise to any occasion,

to any challenge,

to any obstacle.

Because you are my reason,

You are my life,

You are my guide,

You are my all-in-all,

You are my safety,

I rest in You.
