Hi, I've been a spiritual seeker for 37 years and have the dark circles around my eyes to prove it. Currently I do volunteer office work at Sirius Community in the US twice a week. Sirius was founded by four former Findhorn members so we are a sister-community on the pathways of light. (http://www.siriuscommunity.org).
Working like this gives me a sense that I am serving the higher good and keeps me somewhat connected to the advancing evolvement of spiritual ideas brought forward by people like the Caddys, Dorothy Maclean, Ram Dass, Spangler, and others. I hope we will all be known as a generation of great spiritual advancement someday and that this new century will continue the adventure to the highest degree.
As for my adventure, I enjoy singing, writing, studying spiritual subjects, thinking up prayers, watercolor painting, taking care of my two cats, and have just created a small meditation garden this summer with my 80 year old father, to our own design.
Step by step I keep on my path. The trick is to keep moving forward. Leave going around in circles for dancing or the labyrinth walk. But don't forget to stop and smell the roses, lean on a tree, have a cup of tea, or sit by the seashore. Have a cookie, be a wanderer, stick to your purpose, and the world will open with wonder and joy. Most days anyway. Blessings and light, Karren
